Consumer Club is designed to educate students about their rights and responsibilities, promoting awareness of consumer protection laws, product safety, and ethical shopping practices. These clubs foster a, knowledgeable, and vigilant consumer base through activities like workshops, debates, market visits, and campaigns against misleading advertisements.
Key Objectives & Activities
Education: Teaching students about the Consumer Protection Act, product standards (ISI, AGMARK), and identifying unfair trade practices.
Activities: Organizing poster competitions, rallies, street plays, and awareness campaigns for the community.
Practical Knowledge: Conducting workshops on detecting food adulteration and understanding consumer rights, such as the right to safety, information, and redressal.
